Obituary for Debra G. "Debbie" Elder (Sturgess)

Elder, Debra (nee Sturgess), Born July 20, 1954 to William Archie Sturgess of Avon and Eva Winch Sturgess of Avon. She gained her wings on August 20, 2016 at home, surrounded by family.
Debbie is preceded in death by her father William Archie Sturgess, her mother Eva Winch Sturgess, daughter Jamy Elder, nephew Destry Wampler, brother-in-law Jack Wampler, niece Krista Eaton, husband Michael Elder and brother-in-law Rick Elder.
She is survived by her 3 children, Sarah (Brian) Hazlett, Michael Elder II and Matthew Elder, 7 grandchildren, Hope (Corey) Uptegrove, Faith Shepard, Amy (Nathan) Neel, Brooke Griffard, Lance Elder, Madison Elder and Chase Elder, 5 great-grandchildren, Deonte, Payson, Lucas, Tysen and Payton, 4 siblings, Archie (Peggy) Sturgess, Dee (Bill) Barnes, Katie (Frank) Eaton, Donna Wampler, sister-in-law Sue (Richard), brother-in-law Keith (Linda) and 5 very special long-time friends, Kim Webb, Jemi Ann, Candy, Tina and Vickie. Also cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends.
Funeral service Wednesday, August 24, 11:30 a.m. at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood. Interment National Cemetery. Visitation Tuesday, 4-8 p.m.
