Obituary for Hazel Marie Kyd (Lowry)

Hazel Marie Kyd (nee Lowry) Passed away at age 93 on Monday, August 22, 2016; Beloved wife for 46 years of the late George H. Kyd, Jr.; loving mother of George H. Kyd, III, D.D.S. of St. Louis and Thomas L. (Margot) Kyd of San Diego; dear grandmother of Brian (Danielle) and Joey Kyd; great-grandmother of twins Grayson and Madison Kyd; dear sister of the late Ross and Mabel Lowry; dear mother-in-law of Nancy Kyd; dear cousin, aunt to many nieces and nephews and friend to all.

Hazel was born on June 8, 1923 in Fayette County, IL. Honor Graduate from St. Louis Business College in St. Louis, MO. Employed by the F.B.I., becoming a private secretary to the special agent in charge of the St. Louis office. She was a long time member of First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood, where she served as deacon and many other volunteer activities. She also served on the board of Manor Grove in Kirkwood.

Memorial Service 10am Saturday, August 27, at First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood, 100 E. Adams Ave., Kirkwood, MO 63122. If desired, memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church of Kirkwood.
