Obituary for Joanne M. Brooks

Brooks (nee Schneider), Joanne M. strengthened with the sacraments of the Holy Church, died peacefully November 24, 2016. Preceded in death by loving husband, Reverend Mr. Robert A. Brooks; beloved son, Robert A. Brooks, Jr., daughter-in-law Cindy Cannon Brooks, and brother Paul F. Schneider. Born December 1, 1931 in Hopkinton, Massachusetts, to the late Frederick and Marguerite Schneider. Survived by seven children; Peggy Forrest, Patty (Mike) Gibson, Debbie (Bob) Duncan, Michael (Martha) Brooks, John Brooks, Maureen (David) Spitznagel, Katie (Harry) Williams; 25 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by the Mari de Villa family, who cared for her lovingly in her final years.

Services: A visitation will be held Monday, November 28, 2016, 3-7pm at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Road, Kirkwood. Funeral mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at 11am at the Church of the Ascension, 230 Santa Maria Drive, Chesterfield. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Our Ladys Inn, 8790 Manchester Road, Ste. 202, St. Louis, 63144.
