Obituary for Joseph Edward Grimm

Joseph Edward Grimm, 69, fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, passed away at home surrounded by family on December 4, 2016.

Joe will remain forever in the hearts of his wife Helen (nee Lunitz) of 46 years, parents Joseph Andrew and Florence (nee Michalski) Grimm, daughter Nicole, son Ryan (Fangfang), grandchildren Isabella and Tommy, and sister-in-law Patricia Lunitz.

A mechanical engineering graduate of the University of Missouri at Rolla and member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, Joe worked in the HVAC industry for 35 years before retiring as an executive of the Sporlan Valve Company. In retirement, he pursued his love of flying, passion for travel, and devotion to his Catholic faith, while continuing to serve as the rock of his family.

Services: Saturday, December 10 at Mary Queen of Peace Church in Webster Groves, visitation at 9am followed by a funeral Mass at 10am.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Society of St. Vincent de Paul or Wings of Hope would be appreciated.
