Obituary for Robert E. "Bob" Brown

Robert (Bob) Brown, age 89, made his transition on Sunday, January 15, 2017. Bob was born on November 21st, 1927. Adopted son of Mildred and Walter Brown. Bob grew up in St. Louis, Missouri and began working at the Post Dispatch Publishing company at the young age of 13. At 16 he began his 40 plus year career at Berbericks Delivery, as a driver throughout the bi-state area, and held the office of shop steward in local union 610.
Bob and his devoted wife, Lorraine (nee Forshee) were married on April 18th, 1953. Loving father of Laura, Ron, Bobby and Janice; father-in-law to Dave G'Sell; dearest grandfather of five and great grandfather of nine.
Bob is remembered as a fun loving, doting and fiercely loyal family man.
Bob served as a US Army Sergeant tank retriever, stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Services: Visitation Wed., Jan. 18th, 10:00 am until time of service, 11:30 am at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
