Obituary for Jacqueline Ann Votruba (Heath)

Jacqueline Ann Votruba (Heath)
Votruba, Jacqueline Ann “Jackie”, Sun., Jan 15, 2017. Beloved wife of George E. Votruba, Jr. for 37 years, dear mother of Pam Milfelt, Michael Milfelt, Dawn (Mike) Birch; stepmother to George (Jeanette) Votruba III and Linda (Mike) Haberberger, grandmother of Travis Birch, Tracey Milfelt, Spencer Milfelt, and the late Drew Birch, great-grandmother of Cloe Milfelt and Kira Milfelt. Grandmother-by-marriage to Mitchel (Alison) Votruba and their children: Hudson and Walker; Tori (Sean) Davies and their children Gideon, Hanna, and Elizabeth. Cheston Votruba, Daniel Haberberger and Anna Haberberger.

Jackie lived her life with such vigor and laughter that it affected everyone whom she came in contact with. She lit-up a room and everyone was saddened when she left a party. It was her gift. She could make us smile with her poise and her style. She was always a class act. She loved people and animals alike. Her poodles were some of her most-prized possessions. And, of course, she loved her husband, George. Jackie and George enjoyed four decades together--full of love and life, fun and adventure with family and friends, and just the companionship and caring for each other.

Jackie loved to get dressed-up and go out to dance, but she was equally happy just to sit and play board games. She also loved to exercise. She was a great role model to all of her kids, grandkids, and great-grandbabies. It was a life well-lived! Rest in peace—Our beloved Jackie.

Services: Funeral Thurs., Jan. 19, 10 am at BOPP CHAPEL, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood. Entombment, Sunset Memorial Park. Visitation Wed., 5-8 pm.
