Cherished partner of Joan Keith; Loving father of Steve (Phyllis), Mike, Michelle, Barb (Sean) Yost and grandfather of Chip, Paul, and David Thien; Dan and Joe; Gabe, Lydia, and Josiah Yost; brother of Mary Choler.

Fran was a family man, athlete, artist, veteran, friend to all, generous with his time, talent, and wisdom. He was most proud of his family and we were proud of him. He was quick with a smile and laugh, able to tease without being mean, a US Army veteran during the Korean War, an athlete and competitor in all sports and games, particularly ran track for Beaumont High School, Mizzou, and the US Army, Played football for Beaumont Hgh School and the semi-pro St. Louis Knights, Youth sports coach, Graphic Artist in advertising, Christmas decorator extraordinaire, practical jokester, a great neighbor, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone, anytime, kind and generous, wise, a true example of the best partner, father, friend, and family man.


Funeral mass Saturday Feb 25th, 10am at St. Peter Catholic Church, Kirkwood. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Memorial contributions preferred to the American Heart Association. Visitation Friday Feb 24th. 4 – 7pm at Bopp Chapel. www.boppchapel.com
