James S. Burke, Sr., “Jim”, age 73 passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017. Beloved husband of 52 years to Elizabeth “Betty” Burke (nee Naber); loving father of James S. Burke, Jr., M.D. and Michael L. (Amy) Burke; cherished grandfather of Lauren, Matt, T. J., Kyle and Nicholas Burke; dear brother of Patricia (Rich) Kitchen; dear brother-in-law of Tom (Kathy) Naber, Mary (Bob) Schiller, Nancy (Tom) Murphy, Helen “Lynn” (Jim) Elkins and the late Richard A. (Lynn) Naber; dear uncle, great-uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Visitation Sunday, May 7, from 4:00pm until Celebration of Life Service at 6:00pm at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., in Kirkwood. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or charity of donor’s choice.
