McMahon, Cathy of Kirkwood, MO., passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017. She is survived by her husband, Stephen McMahon; her son, Andy Lueck of St. Charles, MO. and stepson, Brian McMahon of Kirkwood, MO.

She was born Cathy Williams on June 27, 1955 into a growing family that soon included six children. She was pre-deceased by her father, Lindell Williams, and a sister, Sharon Lee Williams. She is survived by her mother, Mildred Williams of Gotha, Fl., and two brothers, Lindell Williams, Jr., and Dennis Williams (Lisa), both of Gotha, Fl.

Also surviving are two sisters and their families, Mary Retzlaff (Donald) of St. Charles, MO and Tina Hawkins (Glennon) of Ferguson, MO.

She married Steve McMahon on November 28, 2001, joining the equally large McMahon clan.

Cathy was very creative, known in her family as a crafter who could create something beautiful from ordinary objects. As an adult, she worked many years in graphic arts at a printing company.

She was a passionate and skilled cook who enjoyed hosting many memorable family events where no one went away hungry. When the season allowed, she ventured from her kitchen into her garden. Flowers were her primary focus but she expanded her repertoire to include vegetables that found their way onto their dinner plates.

She took great pride in her son’s athletic pursuits.

Visitation will be held Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood, MO. Services will follow immediately at 11 a.m.
