Roche, Elizabeth M. (Bette) (nee Miller), 92, April 18, 2017. Preceded in death by her father Leo C. Miller, her mother Dorothy I. Sullivan, her husband Byron A Roche, Sr., and her daughter-in-law Lisa Roche; beloved sister of Leo I. Miller, dear mother of Byron A. Roche, Jr. (Paula), Linda Sherrill (David), Brad Roche (Karen), and Dorothy Swicord (Carl); loving grandmother of Sean Flower (Stacey), Todd Flower (Kathleen) Adam Roche (Frazer), Erin Anders (Robert), Sarah Roche, Sam Roche, Ellen Swicord, Andy Swicord, Caroline Roche and Allison Roche; proud great grandmother of Madison Flower, Zack Flower, Lisa Flower, Ronan Flower, Beau Anders, Landon Roche, Jake Anders, Lucy Roche and Will Anders; devoted aunt to Ann Miller, Leo I. Miller, Jr. and Margo Miller (Chet). Born in St. Louis on June 6, 1924, Bette attended Rossman School, Clayton High School and Washington University before joining the Marine Corps in 1945. After her service she returned to St. Louis and married Byron A. Roche, Sr. on March 5, 1948. An active member of Concordia Lutheran Church in Kirkwood for more than 30 years, Bette devoted her life to her family. After earning her real estate license in 1976, she spent the next 20 years helping others find the perfect home. A good listener and friend to all, she leaves a legacy of strength, resilience and love.

Services: Visitation Saturday, April 22, 1pm at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd., followed by service at 3pm. Private interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. The family requests that memorial donations be made to the charity of your choice.
