Obituary for Daniel M. Scannell

Daniel Michael Scannell passed away peacefully on July 3, 2017 with his sisters by his side.

Dan was born on Aug. 20, 1958 to the late Thomas D. and Virginia A. Scannell; beloved brother of Patricia A. Wehner (James), Margaret Jackovac, the late Thomas D. Scannell and Jeanne Scannell. Dan was Uncle, Great Uncle and a wonderful friend to many.

A Memorial Mass to celebrate his life will be held Sat., July 8, 11:00am at Blessed Teresa of Calcutta Catholic Church, 150 N. Elizabeth Ave, Ferguson. Visitation to be held prior to Mass at 10:00am. No organization meant more to Dan than Handicapped Encounter Christ (HEC). In lieu of flowers, donations are requested and should be directed to HEC, c/o 6269 Reber Place, 63139. See www.stlouishec.com for more information. In keeping with Dan’s wishes, his remains were donated to Washington University Medical School.
