Obituary for Sister Mary Elizabeth Godefroy (Godefroy) Vhm

Sister Mary Elizabeth Godefroy, VHM, age 91, August 15, 2017, strengthened by the sacraments of Holy Mother Church, at the Visitation Monastery at Catherine’s Residence in St. Louis, Mo. Sister was preceded in death by her parents, Adolf and Anita Godefroy, her brother Alex and sisters Patricia and Sr. Anne Madeleine Godefroy , VHM; beloved aunt and great-aunt, sister in religion, and friend.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, August 18, at 11:00 a.m. following a visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the Visitation Academy Chapel 3020 North Ballas Road. Burial at Calvary Cemetery after Mass. Memorials to the Sisters’ Heart and Mind Center at Visitation Academy.
