Obituary for Nanette M. Cancila (Becker)

Cancila, Nanette M. (nee Becker) Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Beloved wife of Sam Cancila. Dear mother of Mary (Rich Nyman) Cancila, Cheri Cancila, Carrie (Jesse) Weathers, Terry (Amy) Cancila, Ted (Don Sumada) Cancila, and Tim (Barbara) Cancila. Beloved Grandmommy to 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Gordon (Barbara) Becker, the late Helen Ostlund, and the late Dolores Becker. Dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Funeral Mass will be Saturday, September 23, 10:00 a.m. at St. Peter Catholic Church, 243 W. Argonne Dr. in Kirkwood. Interment St. Peter Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Bopp Chapel, 10610 Manchester Rd. in Kirkwood. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Siteman Cancer Center Melanoma Research Fund, CB 1204, 7425 Forsyth Blvd., St. Louis, Mo. 63105.
