Obituary for
Henry R. "Ray" Ford
Henry Raymond Ford of Bonita Springs Florida was embraced by his Heavenly Father on November 16, 2017. He was the beloved husband of Judy DeLuca-Ford and father of Bryan F. Ford. He was predeceased by his son, Gregory B. Ford and daughter, Sheila M. Ford. He was the grandfather of Jennifer L. (Ford) Cowan and Geoffrey D. Ford, grandfather-in-law of Jeff Cowan, and great -grandfather of Hattie Grace Cowan who all reside in St. Louis. Also surviving is his brother-in-law John and Sandra DeLuca, of Chicago, Illinois and Patricia DeLuca and Pete Bastian of New Bern, North Carolina. Also nephews, John DeLuca, Jr. of Chicago, Illinois and his wife, Carly and Michael DeLuca of Houston, Texas. He is also survived by cousin Jerry and Louise Beck of Blountville, Tennessee.
Ray was born at home in Kingsport TN and recently celebrated his 87th birthday surrounded by family and friends. He was an executive with Monsanto Company, as well as Buckeye International before retiring to Florida. He believed in giving back, supported many domestic and international charities and opened The Biome charter school in St. Louis. He led a fulfilling life, touched many people and will be dearly missed.
Services: The family will receive friends on Wed., Nov. 29 from 4:00 pm until 7:00 pm at BOPP CHAPEL, 10610 Manchester Rd., Kirkwood. The funeral will be held Thurs., Nov. 30, 10:30 am, at Kirkwood Baptist Church, 211 N. Woodlawn (at Adams Ave), Kirkwood, MO 63122, followed by entombment at Bellerive Cemetery, Creve Coeur, MO.
