Betty Jean Grah (Keller)
Grah, Betty Jean, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at the age of 87.
Betty was born in St. Louis on January 15, 1931. She spent the last 64 years in her home in Kirkwood, MO. After her retirement from Webster University, she continued working as a Sales Consultant at Suburban Lawn Center in Chesterfield, MO.
Her passion in life was her family and her best friend, her dog Godiva. Sunday dinners were a must as she always loved cooking for her family.
She enjoyed many pastimes including: cooking, her gardens, where she grew the most amazing roses and flowers. She was extremely gifted in her skill of decorating and could also decorate a gorgeous Christmas tree and village. She was blessed to have wonderful neighbors. Betty enjoyed the game of golf, taking cruises and loved the St. Louis Cardinals. She will be greatly missed by all.
She is survived by her 3 children: Mark Grah, Kristy Gantzer, Rebecca (fiance Roger Becker). Her grandchildren: Jonathan (Rachel) Kesler, Jessica (Jason) Groerich and Nicholas Gerdel & great grandchildren Charlotte, London & Aaron, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her husband Jerry Grah, her 4 siblings, son-in-law and parents.
Services: Visitation will be held from 1:00 to 2:30 pm on Saturday, January 20th, with a Celebration of Life immediately following at Bopp Chapel in Kirkwood, MO. Donations can be made to Stray Rescue of St. Louis. Private interment later at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
