Obituary for Elvira E. Knoesel (Risch)

Knoesel, Elvira “Mickey” E. (nee Risch), age 93 of St. Louis, MO died November 5, 2018.

Born in St. Louis, MO, a long-time employee of Golde’s Department Stores, St. Louis, MO. Preceded in death by her husband Howard M. Knoesel; parents John and Louise Risch (nee Kellman); sisters Ann, Dorothy, Marie and Mildred; brothers Edward, Harry, John, Kenny and Tom.

Mother of Robert Knoesel (Claudia Van Winkle), Martin Knoesel (Mary Safron), and Nancy (Michael) Simorka; 7 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren. Dear Aunt, Sister-in-law and friend to many.

No Visitation. Private interment at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Many thanks to Mercy Hospice for the care and attention they provided. In lieu of flowers, donations preferred to Mercy Health Foundation, 615 S. New Ballas Rd., St. Louis, MO 63141 or to the charity of your choice.
