Obituary for John William Eyermann

John William Eyermann
John “EY” Eyermann passed away at the age of 65 on November 6, 2018, with his family by his side. John was born in St. Louis, Missouri on September 7, 1953 to Martha and Charles Eyermann Jr. He grew up with 2 siblings, Nancy and his late brother Charles III, and graduated from Kirkwood High School in 1972. He married his loving wife, Carol, in 1985, and then came 2 beautiful children; John Jr and daughter Jenna. John formed his own construction company in 1993, J & J Bobcat, to which he dedicated much of his time.
Beyond perfecting his business, John was always grateful in the little moments, and thoroughly enjoyed taking time to spend with his family and abundance of friends. He was a selfless, patient, and devoted friend, father, and husband. He was a one of a kind, funny, principled man, who was a guiding light for everyone around him. In his spare time, John enjoyed his dogs, his guns, and riding his Harley’s. He loved to tinker in his shop; fixing things, cleaning his bikes, and soaking in the beauty of life. At the end of each day, he enjoyed telling stories while grilling for his loved ones, with a cold Bud Light in hand.
John is survived by his wife Carol Eyermann; son John Eyermann Jr; daughter Jenna Smith and husband Martinez, sister Nancy Foland and husband Greg, cousin Peter Eyermann and wife Therese, cousin Chris Eyermann and wife Kelly, and his numerous close friends.
John’s Memorial will be held on Saturday, November 10, 2018 from 3pm-5pm at Bopp Chapel, located at 10610 Manchester Rd, Kirkwood, MO, 63122. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to Missouri Baptist Medical Center (www.missouribaptist.org/giving) or the American Cancer Society (www.cancer.org).
