Obituary for Henry Niels Peter Adelsen

Henry Niels Peter Adelsen entered the world on May 11, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in St. Louis as a stillborn. Our Triune God blessed Henry with a holy death and took him home to rest in the arms of Jesus to await the resurrection of the dead. While in the womb, Henry heard the saving Word of God. Henry is survived by his parents Peter and Melissa Adelsen. Also surviving are his grandparents, Gary and Marietta Adelsen, and Kenneth and Stacy Shaw; aunts, Kathryn Adelsen and Cristina Shaw; great-grandparents, Tony and Diana Hayse, and Gerald and Sarah Shaw.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 17, at the Chapel of St. Timothy and St. Titus at Concordia Seminary, 801 Seminary Place, St. Louis, MO 63105, with Pastor Randy Asburry presiding. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Des Peres, Missouri for family. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away; blessed be the name of the Lord. We give thanks to God our Father through Jesus Christ, our Lord, for Henry.
