Waltke, Leslie J., Asleep in Jesus, Friday, January 1, 2021. Beloved daughter of the late James J. and Mary Knight Waltke; dear sister of Louis H. “Chip” Waltke II; dear aunt of Andrew J. (Susan) Waltke, Scott A. (Anna) Waltke and the late Kyle C. Waltke; great-aunt of August and Reese Waltke.
Leslie attended Mary Institute, completed her undergraduate degree at Rollins College and earned her Master’s Degree from Washington University in St. Louis. In her successful career, Leslie held executive positions at companies including Xerox, Lucent, Avaya, American Express, SAP and lastly retiring from Shire Pharmaceuticals. Leslie’s loves were her friends, her dogs, world travel, photography and she was a talented needlepointer. Her generosity and sense of humor had no bounds.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Dogwood Farm Sanctuary, PO BOX 53, Troy, MO 63379.
