The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Raymond Schmitz can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: CYNTHIA and MIKE WILLIAMS
Condolence: We were all lucky to have Uncle Ray for 87 years. He was always a fantastic and funny guy to be around. Our family grew up with Ray's family, so for 87 years we heard the sometimes corny jokes and always loved them. A smile here, a tricky handshake there, that was Uncle Ray. The world and the golf groups of this world have lost a great man. My dad in heaven will finally have Uncle Ray in his foursome to keep score...that's good because Ray always said my dad didn't know how to count over 5 whenever they were playing golf together. Here's to you, Uncle Ray!!! We'll miss you.

Condolence From: The Kampschroeder's
Condolence: Uncle Ray was always the funny one in the " Schmitz" family as I remember from childhood. And his beautiful wife Ann was so sweet.

You will always be remembered for your sense uncle Ray and I am glad Mike and Ashley were able to meet you.

Now you are reunited with your beautiful bride for eternity. Rest in peace

With Love, Marilyn, Mike and Ashley

Condolence From: John Marshall
Condolence: It is hard to imagine a world without Ray living among us. I will particularly remember his wonderful smile (at times slightly mischievous), the twinkle in his eye, and his remarkable sense of humor! We lost a special person. My condolences to his family. ~John Marshall (Columbia, MO)
