The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Brett Cost can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Jeremy Kistler

My heart is broken over the death of my true brother and friend in Christ Captain. Captain was earnest with living every second in the presence of God. His serious joy in Christ, honesty, confessions and sincerity will forever live on in my heart and mind. Captain was a man of God, devout in holy violence and taking the Kingdom of God by force. In many ways Captain was the last puritan. Captain bled puritan readings and teachings day and night. Captain often told me that his "only hope was the blood of Christ and that when I am in the presence of Almighty God I will only 'plead the blood'". That truth is also my only hope. Because of the blood of Christ alone I know that Captain is soaring further up and further into the infinite ocean of the delights of Jesus Christ this very second. "Grace, grace, God's grace, grace that is greater than all my sin." My favorite times with Brett Cost was hanging out at his house with friends and devouring his big time burgers and the many times spent at Starbucks talking about the glories of Jesus Christ. Captain's devout trust in the perfect obedience, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ was the passion of his life and why I know that my brother and friend is enjoying the fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore of Christ now. May God the Holy Spirit comfort his family. Jeremy K.
